Specialised in being hated by opposing teams and inciting hard men to kick his outfield colleagues. Only ‘keeper ever to psyche a penalty taker into putting a spot kick wide. Name: Matt Fryer Position: Reserve Team Manager
The Old Pro’s view: Looking to impose his pass and move philsophy on the reserve team this season after serving his apprenticeship as a translator for Villas Boas at the University of Lancaster. Despite being a Leeds fan he is not a screamer on the touchline, although poor performers can expect to feel the force of the halftime “travel hairdryer” (half the volume and heat of Sir Alex’s).
